Our Fabulous Story
Our first firepit was created because we'd been through (literally) so many cheaper ones over the years.
Most fire pits you can buy in the shops or online which cost between £60 and £350 are made of thinner steel and these will weather and wear very quickly, often only lasting one or two winter seasons. This is bad for the environment and bad for your purse!
We wanted to make an affordable fire pit built to last and one that could be easily moved and stored away in winter if desired.
(A challenge as thick steel that lasts is very heavy.)
Our collapsible fire pit designs allow our fire pits to be dismantled into smaller lighter parts making it easy to move and store them.
After selling many of our fire pits to family and friends we refined the production process and started Fabulous Firepits Limited in July 2020.

Our video made in 2021
Our video below was made when we had our factory in Sussex but still conveys our ethos.
Due to rising steel and energy costs we sadly had to close our own factory. I took over the business and found a new UK partner to build our fire pits.
So our fire pits are still made in the UK at our manufacturing partner in Sheffield whose high-tech ISO accredited production processes ensure quality and consistency of our fabulous fire pits! In fact the quality of our product has improved since it's now laser cut.

We support several other businesses in Sussex and the UK.
We have been adding to our own fire pit accessories by working with by local specialist suppliers since the summer of 2020.
We support the Ashdown WoodTurners Association, buying our wooden handles from local wood turner, Chris.
Our Ethos
We strive to be aware of our impact on the environment, prioritising relationships with environmentally responsible businesses who are local to us or based in the UK.
